Risk Management is a corner stone of successful
organizations. Departments and personnel dedicated to
practicing risk management exist in the worlds most
prominent organizations.
GRCSI is an international organization of
professionals whose goals are to promote best
practices in governance, risk management, compliance
and security though education, certification, and
accreditation.
On September 28, 2009 GRCSI launched the
Certified Risk
Management Professional (CRMP) program
for risk managers who have the knowledge, skill, and
experience that meet the demanding need for risk
based decision making processes. For risk managers
with extensive experience in financial, information,
or operations risk management, three additional
concentration certifications are also available.
The CRMP certification is
currently available to experienced risk managers under a
grandfathering provision. Please see the
